Meet Andrae & Ryan

At Nova Living, our purpose is to help homeowners achieve a refined living experience — combining thoughtful design, quality craftsmanship, and transparent project management.

With over 30 years of collective experience in the construction industry, we’ve spent our lives immersed in renovations — learning what truly defines a home that feels both functional and inspiring. That passion drives us to design and build spaces where every detail has purpose and every finish feels intentional.

We founded Nova Living because we saw too many homeowners frustrated by poor communication, unreliable trades, and contractors who didn’t understand how to bring a vision to life. We knew there was a better way — one built on clarity, accountability, and design integrity.

Our process is rooted in design-first thinking and transparent execution. With an in-house designer boasting over 20 years of experience, we ensure that every concept not only looks beautiful but also functions seamlessly. Our project management approach emphasizes clear communication, realistic timelines, clean worksites, and trusted trades — so the renovation experience feels smooth from start to finish.

At Nova Living, we don’t just renovate homes — we reimagine the way you live in them.

Proudly serving Calgary and surrounding areas.

Our experience with Nova was exceptional throughout the process. From the initial design meetings through to the finishing touches, the team communicated well, and were on time and on budget. The quality of the work is outstanding - the craftsmanship of the kitchen exceeded our expectations and even the quality of the baseboards and casings surprised us.

I first met Ryan and Share at the Home Show. I decided to go with Nova Living because I appreciated our conversation.
As promised on the website, they really are there every step of the way. They came with me to various places to sort out flooring and countertops.

I appreciated there attention to detail such as the floor plan, lighting, and measurement, and knowledge of product.
They did an excellent job at dust control too!!

Unlike other companies I also appreciated how I wasn't locked into going with a package or brand.

It's a four-star for me because I feel that things were pre-prepared for demo to early before work really started. On the opposite, returning things back to where they were before took a week longer then what I would have liked.

Regardless the before and after pictures speak for themselves!!

I can say enough about Nova Living and I will be having them in my home for my next project!

Andrae and Ryan do INCREDIBLE work, but more importantly they are so wonderful to work with. They have been in and out of our home for various phases of a small kitchen reno, and each time they are extremely easy to talk to, their work is meticulous, they are neat and tidy, and just an overall pleasure to have around. I would (and will) recommend them to my friends, family and neighbors. I look forward to having them back for the next project! Thanks you guys!

Drae and Ryan recently put in new kitchen cupboards for us and added a coffee bar. They matched the existing cupboards exactly - you can not tell what was original from the ones they did. They are wonderful to work with - very pleasant and have excellent ideas about how to get the job done. Thank you so much for the outstanding job. We highly recommend this company.
